Listen and be prepared to identify the following:
- prelude 1 from Well Tempered Clavier book 1 (BWV 846)
- 2 part Invention #1 (BWV 772)
- 2 part invention #8 in F major (BWV 779)
- Allemande from the french suite No. 1 (BWV 812)
- Aria in G major (from anna magdalena bach notebook) BWV 988
A note about BWV: this is the numbering system used to catalog Bach's music. Use the numbers for easy reference to mae sure you are listening to the correct music (there are multiple french suites, for example)
