Homework 4C.

Chapter 12, just do example 2 (mendelssohn Song wo Words) from the contextual listening. Do questions 1-9, and then 11 and 12. For extra credit try notating both the bass and the melody.

This will be due wednesday and I'll accept them on friday for partial credit.

Homework 4F

Take a look in your workbook to ex. 2 (track 2.4) from chapter 29. Listen and answer questions 4,6, and 7-12.

In addition to those questions, dictate the melody (top voice) and the bass line from segments 1 and 4, as explained in your workbook. If there are any questions about the "segments" let me know.

Answers are not in the library, so do your best at home and if you need extra help let me know. Since I'm posting this on sunday, you guys have till wednesday to comlete it. I'll accept late hw for partial credit on friday, but we'll be discussing it on wednesday.

Also if you need some extra credit do the next track, brahms string sextet, example 3, track 2.5, questions 3,5,6,8,9, and 12. This will count for one quiz or two absenses.
